Is WHLI right for you?
The Women's Health Leadership Initiative is designed for motivated students who are committed to pursuing a career as a physician and who want meaningful clinical exposure in women's health. Because the program provides individualized mentorship and hands-on observational experiences, participation is limited to one student at a time.
Eligibility Requirements
✔ Current junior or senior undergraduate student
OR
✔ Recent college graduate preparing to apply to medical school within the next 1–2 years
OR
✔ Incoming medical student seeking additional clinical exposure before beginning medical school
Applicants Should Also
✔ Be pursuing a career as a physician (MD or DO)
✔ Demonstrate professionalism and maturity
✔ Be able to commit to the full two-week program
✔ Have reliable transportation to the clinical site
✔ Submit a current CV or résumé
Before You Apply
Please note:
WHLI is an observational experience. Students do not provide direct patient care.
Participation is subject to patient consent and clinical scheduling.
Students are expected to maintain professional attire, confidentiality, and punctuality throughout the program.
Because of the personalized nature of the experience, space is limited.
